I Introduction

YEJ Series Electromagnetism Brake Three-phase Induction Motor meets the needs of fast brake, accurae positioning, reciprocating operation, preventing slide and used as principal axis transmission and auxiliary transmission such as hoisting mechanism, tranportation machinery, packaging machinery, food machinery, printing machinery, building machinery, woodworking machinery, slowdown machinery, metallurgy machinery, forging machinery and so forth.

II Structure Instruction

This series of motor is derived system product composed of one DC electromegnetism arrester appended between back cover and fan of Y series (ip44) motor. Adopt break down brake. In addition, this series of motor specs are as same as similar Y system specs such as corresponding relationship between power level and installation dimension, installation dimension, installation type, insulation level, usage condition, working method, cooling method, rating volltage and rating frequency. Motor protection level ip44, mechanism part of brake ip23. Motor sturcture shows in picture 1.

III Braking Time Characteristics of YEJ Series Motor

Braking time characteristics of YEJ series motor related with the connection of rectifier. There are two connection methods in combining rectifier and power supply showing in picture 2. Both of them has same friction brake time but different releasing time. Braking time characteristics of these two connections showing in picture 3.

IV Adjustment of YEJ Series Motor Arrester Gap

The fraction materials of arrester will be weared out after long time usage and increases gap between electromagnetic iron core and gag bit as well as increases spring working length. So it reduces spring pressure and minimizes brake torque. At the same time, gap increase rises pick-up voltage of gag bit, can not make gag bit picking up in severity, therefore, it needs gap check and adjustment regulally, normal gap 0.3~1.0mm
